A CHORUS LINE takes us behind the scenes of the auditions for the chorus line of a Broadway show. At first faced with dozens of choices, Zach, the director quickly chooses a line-up of finalists who will compete for only eight chorus positions. One by one, he asks them to tell him about themselves, and, in the end, the eight are choses, but not before we become intimately aware of what has brought each hopeful to these auditions.
